You may know how tall your player(s) are and how high they jump. You probably have shooting percentages, assist totals, and rebounding stats. But, do you really know your players? They want and need to know you care
more about them than whether they can perform a certain basketball skill.
I suggest you consider a form that can possibly give you some information that may show you another side of your player(s). The longer I coached, the more I became aware of how important it was to know more than just
the skill level of your players on the court. If you are going to have a chance to influence your players to be all they can be both on the floor and off, you will need to know more than their basketball averages. Both of us know, there are coaches who know very little about their players besides their strengths and weaknesses on the floor. I think that's a shame.
